![]() However RM is viable for Nyalotha and keys, and a 2 second nerf to the 4 second extension isn't going to make it any less viable. So it just seems rather dramatic to me that people are freaking out saying the playstyle was ruined, the talent gutted, etc, when legitimately it's still extending our HoTs, and now, it's receiving a 50% healing buff. (EP and before was another story entirely for the talent of course.) With this hotfix it will still be used and remain viable, it will just require a tiny bit more attention on our HoTs than required previously. 0.15 SP does not push this talent above the healing Upwelling (the build Monks have been since 2016) does in Raids and is not better than Focused Thunder in PvP/M+ due to there being less targets to heal off of. ![]() And that RM was unviable in both Raids and M+ (and PvP). This is the exact same RM that existed pre-8.3 just instead of 0.15 SP scaling it is 0.3. ![]() It's even being given 50% increased healing, so at least it isn't just losing 50% of the HoT extension, so why are people freaking out? Just watch your HoTs like any other healer and you'll be fine would you not? (Maybe it affects raiding more though? I don't raid much on my MW I'll admit, since I've geared her towards keys.) From what I've read though, the talent isn't being nerfed into the ground, and it isn't really being gutted either it's simply making you pay attention to your HoTs instead of actively ignoring them like people were able to do with insane amounts of haste and stacking Ineff corruptions. If I'm being completely honest, I don't quite understand the dramatic comments, and this comes from someone who runs keys mainly on my MW. ![]()
